علي بن محمود بن إبراهيم بن ماحوّه أبوالحسن المروذي الصوفي سمع بدمشق وبغيرها. وحدث عن أبي الحسن عبد الوهاب بن الحسن بن الوليد الكلابي بسنده إلى أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول اله ﷺ: " إذا توضأ أحدكم فليجعل في فيه ثم ليستنشق ". كان جده ماحوّه مجوسياً. ولد سنة ست وستين وثلاث مئة. ومات سنة إحدى وخمسين وأربع مئة.
