علي بن الفضل بن أحمد ابن محمد بن الحسن بن طاهر بن الفرات، أبو القاسم المقرئ إمام جامع دمشق. حدث عن عبد الوهاب بن الحسن الكلابي بسنده إلى ابن عباس قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: " من أعان ظالماً بباطل ليدحض بباطله حقاً فقد برئ من ذمة الله ورسوله ". توفي سنة ست وأربعين وأربع مئة.
