علي بن أحمد بن سعيد بن سهل أبو الحسن البغدادي الغازي المعروف بابن عفان حدث بسنده إلى أبي هرمز قال: دخلنا على أنس بن مالك نعوده، فقال: صافحت بكفي هذه كف رسول الله ﷺ، فما مسست خزاً ولا حريراً ألين من كفه ﷺ. قال أبو هرمز: فقلنا لأنس بن مالك: فصافحنا بالكف التي صافحت بها رسول الله ﷺ، فصافحنا. ثم ذكر المصافحة مسلسلة عن كل راوٍ إلى الحافظ ﵀. وحدث عن خيثمة بن سليمان قال: سمعت العباس بن الوليد بن مزيد قال: سمعت محمد بن شعيب بن شابور يقول: ما تصيب في ألف أصلع رجل سوء، ولا تصيب في ألف سناط رجلاً صالحاً.
