عبد الله بن عمرو بن الوليد بن عقبة بن أبي معيط أبان ابن أبي عمرو بن أمية، أبو وهب القرشي الأموي، وهو ابن أبي قطيفة الشاعر كان في زمان هشام بن عبد الملك، وبينه وبينه مراجمة بالشعر قال له هشام بن عبد الملك: من الطويل أبلغ أبا وهب إذا ما لقيته ... بأنك شر الناس عيباً لصاحب ثم قال: والله لئن هجوتني لأبلغن في عقوبتك.
