ظفر بن محمد بن ظفر ابن عمر بن حفص بن عمر بن سعيد ابن أبي عزيز جندب بن النعمان، أبو نصر الأزدي الزملكاني حدّث عن أبي الأزهر جماهر بن محمد الزملكاني بسنده عن أنس بن مالك قال: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: " بعثت أنا والساعة كهاتين، وأشار بأصبعه المشيرة والوسطى كفرسَي رهان، استبقا فسبق أحدهما صاحبه بإذنه جاء الله سبحانه، جاءت الملائكة، جاءت الجنة، يا أيها الناس استجيبوا لربكم والقوا إليه السِّلَم ". توفي ظفر بن محمد سنة أربعين وثلاثة مئة.
