سعيد بن سهل بن محمد ابن عبد الله أبو المظفر النيسابوري المعروف بالفلكي سمع بنيسابور، وكان وزر لصاحب خوارزم، ثم خافه، فخرج عن خوارزم، وحج، وتصدق بالحجاز بصدقات كثيرة. وقدم دمشق سنة ثلاث وخمسين وخمس مئة. وكان شيخاً مسناً، حسن الاعتقاد، متواضعاً. ﵀.حدث عن أبي الحسن علي بن أحمد بن محمد بن عبد الله بن إسماعيل بن أبي العباس بن أبي الطيب الأخرم المديني المؤذن بسنده عن معمر بن عبد الله عن رسول الله ﷺ قال: لا يحتكر إلا خاطىء. مات سعيد الفلكي سنة ستين وخمس مئة.
