الحسن بن المظفر بن الحسن أبو القاسم الهمداني الشيخ الصالح حدث عن أبي بكر محمد بن عبد الله بن عبدان بسنده إلى الفضيل بن عياض أنه قال: ما من نبي إلا وله نظير في أمته. الحسن بن المظفر بن الحسن ابن المظفر بن أحمد بن يزيد أبو علي بن أبي سعد المعروف بابن السبط البغدادي قدم دمشق في تجارة. حدث هو وغيره عن أبي محمد الجوهري بسنده إلى ثابت قال: صلى بنا أنس بن مالك صلاة فأوجز فيها فقال: هكذا كانت صلاة نبيكم ﷺ. ولد أبو علي بن السبط سنة سبع وأربعين وأربع مئة. وتوفي في ربيع الأول سنة ثلاث وعشرين وخمس مئة.
