الحارث بن بدل وقيل ابن سليم ابن بدل النّصري من أهل دمشق. قيل: إنه أدرك النبي ﷺ. حدث الحارث بن بدل قال: شهدت رسول الله ﷺ يوم حنين، فانهزم أصحابه أجمعون إلا العباس بن عبد المطلب وأبو سفيان بن الحارث، فرمى رسول الله ﷺ وجوهنا بقبضة من الأرض فانهزمنا، فما خيّل إليّ أنّ شجراً ولا حجراً إلا وهو في آثارنا. وفي رواية عن الحارث بن بدل عن رجل من قومه شهد ذاك يوم حنين. قال الثقفي: فأعجزت على فرسي حتى دخلت الطائف.
