جرير ويقال حريز بن عتبة ابن عبد الرحمن الحرستاني من أهل دمشق. قال جرير: سمعت أبي يحدث الأوزاعي وأنا جالس قال: سمعت القاسم مولى يزيد بن معاوية يحدث عن أبي أمامة ﵁ قال:كنت قاعداً مع النبي ﷺ في رهط، فذكروا الشام ومن فيها من الروم. قال فقال النبي ﷺ: ستظهرون بالشام وتغلبون عليها وتصيبون من سيف بحرها حصناً يقال له أنفة يبعث الله منه يوم القيامة اثني عشر ألف شهيد. قال: فسمعت الأوزاعي يقول لأبي: لقد سمعت منك حديثاً جيداً ياشيخ.
