إسحاق بن عباد بن موسى أبو يعقوب المعروف بالختلي البغدادي روى عن جماعة، وروى عنه جماعة. روى عن عبد الله بن حفص، بسنده عن ابن عمر، قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: " من أعان على دم مسلم بشطر كلمةٍ كتب بين عينيه يوم القيامة: آيسٌ من رحمة الله ". قال أبو الدحداح: فيها يعني سنة إحدى وخمسين ومئتين، توفي إسحاق بن عباد.
