إبراهيم بن الحسين الدمشقي حدّث عن شعيب بن أحمد البغدادي، بسنده عن عائشة، قالت: دخل عليّ رسول الله صلى الله علي وسلم فقال لي: " يا عائشة اغسلي هذين الثوبين "، قالت: فقلت: بأبي وأمّي يا رسول الله بالأمس غسلتهما، قال: " أما علمت أن الثّوب يتّسخ، فإذا اتّسخ انقطع تسبيحه ". قال الخطيب: روى شعيب حديثاً منكراً، ثم ساق الذي سقناه.
