أحمد بن محمد بن حمدان أبو العباس بن أبي صليعة الصيداوي إمام مسجد عرق بصيدا. حدث عن أبي نصر محمد بن أحمد بن الليث الرافعي القاضي بصيدا بسنده عن يحيى بن سعيد قال: خرجت مع سعيد بن المسيب في ليلة ظلماء مطيرة ومعي سراج أو شمعة، فقال سعيد: ما هذا؟ قلت: نستضيء به حتى ندخل منزلنا. فقال: لا حاجة لنا في هذا، نور الله أفضل من هذا. سمعت أبا هريرة يقول: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: بشر المشائين إلى المساجد في الظلم بالنور التام يوم القيامة. قال مالك بن أنس: هم عندنا شهداء العتمة.
