نقولا الترك الإسطمبولي ١١٧٦ - ١٢٤٤ هـ / ١٧٦٣ - ١٨٢٨ م نقولا بن يوسف الترك الإسطمبولي. شاعر له عناية بالتاريخ، أصله من بلاد الترك من أسرة يونانية ومولده ووفاته في دير القمر (لبنان) . سافر إلى مصر واستخدم كاتباً في حملة نابليون الأول، وعاد إلى لبنان فخدم الأمير بشير الشهابي، وله في مدحه قصائد. وعمي في أواخر أعوامه، فكان يملي ما ينظمه على ابنته وردة. من كتبه (تاريخ نابليون-ط) جزء منه، (تاريخ أحمد باشا الجزار - خ) (مذكرات - ط) ، (ديوان شعر - ط) . (حوادث الزمان في جبل لبنان - خ) من سنة ١١٠٩هـ - ١٢١٥هـ.
