معية المري ? - ? هـ / ? - ? م معية بن حمام المري. شاعر جاهلي من ذبيان، أورد له المرزباني أبياتاً في رثاء أخيه الحصين بن حمام. وقال ابن حجر العسقلاني (هو أخو الحصين بن الحمام ولقد ذكرته لأن أخاه إن كان مات قبل الوفاة النبوية فجائز أن يكون معية أسلم وجائز ألا يكون أسلم ومات على كفر) . رثى أخاه الحصين فذكر مناقبه وصفاته وأخلاقه وأنه كريم يتكاثر الأضياف على باب بيته حتى في الشتاء، شجاع يخوض المعارك الشديدة ببطولة وفروسية.
