مَعدي كَرِب الحِميَري ? - ١٠٠ ق. هـ / ? - ٥٢٥ م مَعدي كَرِب الحِميَري، من آل ذي رُعين. شاعر جاهلي، معمر، مُروّج لعبادة الأصنام في قومه، إذ دفع عمرو بن لُحي إلى معدي كرب نسراً فكان بموضع من أرض سبأ يقال له بلخع تعبده حمير ومن والاها فلم يزل يعبدونه حتى هودهم ذو نواس، وقال الراغب الأصفهاني: وعاش معدي كرب الحميري مائتين وخمسين سنة.
