    محمد علي الجابري ١٢٨٣ - ١٣٣٣ هـ / ١٨٦٦ - ١٩١٤ م أبو مسلم محمد علي بن جاسم بن محمد بن عبد الله بن ملا البو حرشة الشريداوي الجابري. خطيب معروف، وشاعر مقبول. ولد في النجف، ونشأ بها على أبيه، واختلف إلى أساتذة له فقرأ المقدمات من نحو وصرف، ومنطق وبلاغة، وأخذ الفقه والخطابة على جلة من علماء عصره. نظم الشعر مبكراً، وربما أكثر منه غير أنه ذهب بذهاب مجاميعه وآثاره. توفي في النجف، ودفن في الصحن الحيدري.

    محمد علي الجابري (٠٠٠ - ١٣٩٩ هـ- ٠٠٠ - ١٩٧٩ م) أحد وكلاء المرجعية الشيعية النشيطين. انضم إلى صفوف حزب الدعوة الإسلامية (بالعراق) يوم كان يتلقى دراسته في الحوزة العلمية في النجف. انتخب وكيلا للمرجع السيد الصدر في مدينة الفهود. وكان له دور فعال في انتفاضة رجب عام ١٣٩٩ هـ في هذه المنطقة. اعتقل، ثم أعدم أوائل تموز (يوليو) (١).
