محمد بن وهيب الحميري ? - ٢٢٥ هـ / ? - ٨٤٠ م محمد بن وهيب الحميري، أبو جعفر. شاعر مطبوع مكثر، من شعراء الدولة العباسية، أصله من البصرة، عاش في بغداد وكان يتكسب بالمديح، ويتشيع، وله مراث في أهل البيت، وعهد إليه بتأديب الفتح بن خاقان، واختص بالحسن بن سهل، ومدح المأمون والمعتصم، وكن تياهاً شديد الزهاء بنفسه، عاصر دعبلا الخزاعي وأبا تمام.
