كهمس الرفاعي ? - ? هـ / ? - ? م كهمس بن عثمان الرفاعي اليشكري. أحد شعراء الخوارج وقادتهم تولى قيادتهم بعد مقتل الخيبري وظل عشرة أشهر يقاتل مروان بن محمد وهو في خمسة آلاف ومروان في ثلاثين ألفاً وفي آخر معاركه قال كهمس لأمه وكان أبر الناس بأمه: يا أماه لولا مكانك لخرجت. فقالت: يا بني قد وهبتك لله فخرج مع أبي بلال فقتل.
