    كعب بن الأشرف النضري ? - ? هـ / ? - ? م كعب بن الأشرف النضري. شاعر، أحد بني نبهان الطائيين، وأمه يهودية من بني النضير، كان شاعراً فارساً قوي الشكيمة، وله مناقضات مع حسان بن ثابت، وغيره في الحروب التي كانت بين الأوس والخزرج قبل الإسلام. وبعد هجرة النبي ﷺ إلى المدينة، عاداه كعب بن الأشرف حيث كان من أهل الحلقة والحصون، وكان ذا نفوذ كبير في قومه، يحرض قومه وكفار قريش على المسلمين، وكان شعره سلاحاً حاداً ذا خطر على النبي ﷺ، وأخذ يعادي النبي بشعره ويشبب بنساء النبي والمسلمين حتى آذاهم ونال منهم، فخرج إليه محمد بن مسلمة في نفر من الأوس فقتلوه.
