    كاظم سبتي ١٢٥٨ - ١٣٤٢ هـ / ١٨٤٢ - ١٩٢٣ م أبو محمد الكاظم بن أبي علي الحسن بن أبي الحسن علي بن سبتي السهلاني الحميري الشهير بسبتي. شاعر من أشهر شعراء عصره، خطيب وأديب. ولد في النجف من أبويين كريمين حيث مات أبوه وهو طفل صغير، فكفلته أمه. حفظ في صغره (أدب الطف) ، الذي تنوع في مقتل الحسين، ثم تعلم فن الخطابة وبرع فيه حتى أصبح يشار إليه بالبنان، وطارت شهرته في الأوساط العراقية، ثم تجاوزتها إلى سوريا والبحرين والكويت وإيران. له ديوان يقع في ستة آلاف بيت، وله ديوان مطبوع باسم (الروضة الكاظمية) .
