علي زيني ? - ١٢١٥ هـ / ? - ١٨٠٠ م علي بن محمد بن زين الدين بن محمد علي النجفي الكاظمي المعروف بزيني. شاعر شهير في عصره، وأديب كبير نظم بالفصحى والدارجة. ولد في الكاظمية ونشأ فيها، ثم انتقل إلى النجف، فقرأ مبادئ العلوم على جملة من الأعاظم، وتضلع في الفنون وشارك في الرياضيات. له شعر جيد.
