علقمة الهمداني ? - ? هـ / ? - ? م علقمة ذو جدن الهمداني. شاعر إسلامي، له قصيدة في وصف قصر غمدان وهو قصر بناه يشرح بن يحصب وكان على سبعة سقوف بين كل سقفين أربعون ذراعاً. وصير على كل ركن من أركانه تمثال أسد، فكانت الريح إذا هبت دخلت جوفه وخرجت من فيه فيسمع له زئير كزئير السباع، وكان يأمر بالمصابيح فتسرج فيبدو للبعيد وكأنه البرق اللامع.
