    عاجبة الهمداني ? - ? هـ / ? - ? م عاجبة بن حاتم بن عميرة الهمداني. هو أخو الحسل بن حاتم، أحد شعراء همدان في الجاهلية، روي أن حاتم بن عميرة بعث ابنيه الحسل وعاجبه في تجارة، فلقي الحسل قوماً من بني أسد فأخذوا ماله وأسروه، وسار عاجبة أياماً ثم وقع على مال من تجارة قريبة من قبل أن يبلغ إلى موضع متجره، فأخذه ورجع، وقال: كفاني الله بعد السير إني رأيت الخير في السفر القريب وهذا القرب نلنا فيه خيراً ولم نلق الخسارة في الدؤوب
