طعْمَة بن مُدَفِّع ? - ? هـ / ? - ? م طعمة بن كنانة بن بحر بن حسان بن عدي بن جبلة بن سلامة بن عبد الله بن عليم. شاعر إسلامي من بني كلب بن وبرة. كان (عدي بن جبلة) جد لطعمة قد رأس قومه وشرط ألا يدفن ميت من قومه حتى يكون هو الذي يخط له موضع قبره. وقد ذكر طعمة ذلك في شعر له.
