طاهر الحجامي الكبير ١٢٠٠ - ١٢٧٩ هـ / ١٧٨٥ - ١٨٦٢ م أبو علي طاهر بن عبد علي بن عبد الرسول المالكي المعروف بالحجامي. ولد في ربوع حجام، ونشأ بها على أبيه، وتعلم القراءة والكتابة ومبادئ العلوم كالعربية والمنطق والحساب. ثم هاجر إلى النجف، فحضر على أشهر علمائها، وبقي فيها قرابة ثلاثين عاماً، ثم عاد إلى مرابع قومه. توفي في سوق الشيوخ، ونقل جثمانه إلى النجف. له: أرجوزة في المنطق، سلم الوصول إلى علم الأصول، تحفة النساك، مناسك الحج.
