حسين الكركي ? - ١٢٩٠ هـ / ? - ١٨٧٣ م حسين الكركي العاملي الجبعي. عالم فاضل، وأديب شاعر. قرأ في مدرسة الفقيه عبد الله الجبعي، ثم هاجر إلى العراق لطلب العلم في النجف حتى عرف بالفضل والعلم، فطلبه أهل دمشق ليكون عندهم. مات في النجف.
