    حرقوص بن زهير التميمي ? - ? هـ / ? - ? م حرقوص بن زهير التميمي. صحابي، شاعر، فارس شجاع شهد مع الرسول غزوة حنين، أرسله عمر بن الخطاب ﵁، في مدد إلى عتبة بن غزوان فقاد معركة سوق الأهواز وكان فتح الأهواز على يديه. اتخذ لنفسه بيتاً بين الجبال فكتب له عمر: بلغني أنك نزلت منزلاً كؤوداً لا تؤتى فيه إلا على مشقة فأسهل ولا تشق على مسلم ولا معاهد.
