إياس الطائي ? - ٤ ق. هـ / ? - ٦١٨ م إياس بن قبيصة الطائي. من أشراف طيء وفصحائها وشجعانها في الجاهلية. اتصل بكسرى أبرويز، فولاه الحيرة، ثم نحاه وولى النعمان (أبو قابوس) وتعدى الروم تخوم العجم في أيام ابرويز فوجه إياساً لقتالهم فظفر بهم، وبالغ كسرى في تقديمه. ثم كانت غضبة ابرويز على النعمان وقتله إياه فأعاد إياساً إلى ولاية الحيرة سنة ٦١٣م وحدثت في أيامه وقعة ذي قار التي انتصف فيها العرب من العجم، وكان على العجم إياس، فانهزم ولم يبرح والياً على الحيرة إلى أن مات.
