امرؤ القيس أبو الخير الكندي ? - ١٣ هـ / ? - ٦٣٤ م امرؤ القيس أبو الخير بن معدان بن الأسود بن معد يكرب الكندي. كان يلقب بالجفشيش وله شأن في أخبار الصحابة ومما ذكره عمر بن شية أنه كان فيمن ارتد من كندة وأنه أخذ أسيراً ثم قتل. وفي رواية البلاذري أنه ارتد مع الأشعث بن قيس بعد وفاة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم
