    النقاش النجفي ? - ١٢٩٥ هـ / ? - ١٨٧٨ م محمد الشهير بالنقاش النجفي. شاعر من الأذكياء الذين نالوا مكانة في مجتمعاتهم، فقد كان مرموقاً بين أعلام الأدب، رغم أنه لم ينل حظاً من درس العربية سوى ما كان يسمعه من جلاسه الفضلاء، وكان يتعيش من مهنة نقش الخواتيم. كان ينظم حسب السليقة والطبيعة، وقد كان مقلاً، وله شعر جيد.
