الموفق التلعفري ? - ٦٠٢ هـ / ? - ١٢٠٥ م مظفر بن محمد، موفق الدين التلعفري. فيلسوف، من الشعراء. من أهل (تل أعفر) من حصون سنجار. له (تصانيف) في الفلسفة. رحل إلى الموصل وبغداد، وعاد إلى بلده ثم أقام بسنجار عند أصحابها بني مودود، وتصدر للإقراء. وخرج هارباً من صاحبها، إلى حران، وفيها الملك الأشرف (موسى) فلقي من إكرامه ما حبب إليه البقاء وحضر معه وقعة (دنيسر) فوقع وارتض جسده، فمات.
