    الحاجب المصحفي ? - ٣٧٢ هـ / ? - ٩٨٢ م جعفر بن عثمان بن نصر، أبو الحسن، الحاجب المعروف بالمصحفي. وزير، أديب، أندلسي، من كبار الكتاب، وله شعر كثير جيد، أصله من بربر بلنسية، استوزره المستنصر الأموي إلى أن مات، وولي جزيرة ميورقة إلى أيام الناصر، ولما ولي الحكم استوزره، وضم إليه ولاية الشرطة، وآلت الخلافة إلى هشام المؤيد بن الحكم، فتقلد حجابته وتصرف في أمور الدولة، وقوي عليه المنصور بن أبي عامر بخدمته لصبح (أم هشام المؤيد) فاعتقله وضيق عليه، فاستعطفه جعفر بمنظومه ومنثوره، فلم يرق له، وصادره في ماله حتى لم يترك له ولا لأبنائه ما يسدون به أرماقهم، ثم قتله وبعث بجسده إلى أهله.
