    الأمير الصنعاني ١٠٩٩ - ١١٨٢ هـ / ١٦٨٨ - ١٧٦٨ م محمد بن إسماعيل بن صلاح بن محمد الحسني الكحلاني الصنعاني أبو إبراهيم عز الدين. مجتهد، من بيت الإمامة في اليمن، يلقب "المؤيد بالله" بن المتوكل على الله. أصيب بمحن كثيرة من الجهلة والعوام، له نحو مائة مؤلف ذكر صديق حسن خان أن أكثرها عنده (في الهند) ولد بمدينة كحلان ونشأ وتوفي بصنعاء. من كتبه (توضيح الأفكار شرح تنقيح الأنظار - ط) في مصطلح الحديث (سبيل السلام شرح بلوغ المرام من أدلة الأحكام لابن حجر العسقلاني - ط) ، (منحة الغفار) حاشية ضوء النهار (اليواقيت في المواقيت - خ) ، وغيرها الكثير. وله (ديوان شعر - ط) .
