    ابن نباتة المصري ٦٨٦ - ٧٦٨ هـ / ١٢٨٧ - ١٣٦٦ م محمد بن محمد بن محمد بن الحسن الجذامي الفارقي المصري أبو بكر جمال الدين. شاعر عصره، وأحد الكتاب المترسلين العلماء بالأدب، أصله من ميافارقين، ومولده ووفاته في القاهرة. وهو من ذرية الخطيب عبد الرحيم بن محمد بن نباتة. سكن الشام سنة ٧١٥هـ وولي نظارة القمامة بالقدس أيام زيارة النصارى لها فكان يتوجه فيباشر ذلك ويعود. ورجع إلى القاهرة سنة ٧٦١ هـ فكان بها صاحب سر السلطان الناصر حسن. وأورد الصلاح الصفدي في ألحان السواجع، مراسلاته معه في نحو ٥٠صفحة. له (ديوان شعر -ط) و (سرح العيون في شرح رسالة ابن زيدون -ط) . (سجع المطوق -خ) تراجم وغيرها.
