ابن لنكك البصري ? - ٣٦٠ هـ / ? - ٩٧٠ م محمد بن محمد بن جعفر البصري، أبو الحسن، الصاحب ابن لنكك. شاعر، وصفه الثعالبي بفرد البصرة وصدر أدبائها، وقال: أكثر شعره ملح وطرف، جلها في شكوى الزمان وأهله وهجاء شعراء عصره. وهو صاحب البيت المعروف: نعيب زماننا والعيب فينا ولو نطق الزمان إذاً هجانا له (ديوان شعر) اطلع عليه الثعالبي وأورد منه مختارات، ورآه الصاحب بن عباد وقرظه بيتين كتبهما على جزء منه، وكان معاصراً للمتنبي وهجاه.
