ابن السيد البطليوسي ٤٤٤ - ٥٢١ هـ / ١٠٥٢ - ١١٢٧ م عبد الله بن محمد بن السيد، أبو محمد. من العلماء باللغة والأدب، ولد ونشأ في بطليوس (Badajoz) في الأندلس، وانتقل إلى بلنسية فسكنها، وتوفي بها. له: (الاقتضاب في شرح أدب الكتاب، لابن قتيبة - ط) ، و (المسائل والأجوبة - خ) ، و (الإنصاف في التبيه على الأسباب التي أوجبت الاختلاف بين المسلمين في آرائهم-ط) ، و (الحدائق-خ) في أصول الدين، (المثلث-خ) في اللغة، كمثلثات قطرب، و (شرح سقط الزند - ط) و (الحلل في شرح أبيات الجمل) ، و (الحلل في أغاليط الجمل) ، و (شرح الموطأ) وغير ذلك.
