    ابن الزَبير الأسدي ? - ٧٥ هـ / ? - ٦٩٥ م عبد الله بن الزبير بن الأشيم بن الأعشى بن بجرة بن قيس بن منقذ بن طريف الأسدي. شاعر من الكوفة من الشعراء المشهورين بالهجاء كان مرهوب اللسان كثير الهجاء سريع الغضب كثير التقلب. كوفي المنشأ والمنزل. ولما غلب مصعب بن الزبير على الكوفة جيئ به أسيراً فأطلقه وأكرمه فمدحه وانقطع إليه. وعمي بعد مقتل مصعب ومات في خلافة عبد الملك بن مروان له (ديوان شعر -ط) جمعه يحيى الجبوري ببغداد.
