    أبان اللاحقي ? - ٢٠٠ هـ / ? - ٨١٥ م أبان بن عبد الحميد بن لاحق بن عفير الرقاشي. شاعر مكثر من أهل البصرة، نسب إلى جده، وكان أبو جده (عفير) من الموالي. انتقل أبان إلى بغداد، واتصل بالبرامكة، فأكثر من مدحهم، وخص بالفضل بن يحيى، ونظم لهم "كليلة ودمنة" شعراً. واتصل عن طريقهم بالرشيد، فكان من شعرائه. له أخبار، وهجاه أبو نواس وغيره.

    أبان اللاحقي (القرن الثاني الهجري) (القرن الثامن الميلادي) أبان بن عبد الحميد بن لاحق بن عفير الرّقاشي. أديب، شاعر، عاصر الرشيد (١٤٩ - ١٩٣ هـ- ٧٦٦ - ٨٠٩ م) اختص بنقل الكتب المنثورة الى الشعر المزدوج، منها: كليلة ودمنة، وله قصيدة سماها ذات الحلل.
