    ٨٣٤ - أبو الحسين الرَّازِي * الحافظ، محدَّث الشَّام، محمد بن عبد الله بن جعفر بن عبد الله بن الجُنيد، والد تَمّام الرَّازي.سمع محمد بن أيوب بن الضُّرَيس، وعلي بن الحسين بن الجُنيد، ومحمد بن جعفر القَتَّات الكوفي، وجعفر بن محمد الفِرْيابي، والحسن بن سُفْيان، وطبقتهم. واستوطن دمشق، ولحق بها أصحاب هشام. روى عنه: ابنه تَمّام، وأبو الحسن بن جَهْضَم، وعبد الرحمن بن عمر بن نصر، وعَقِيل بن عبيد الله بن عبدان. قال عبد العزيز الكَتّاني: كان ثِقَةً نبيلًا مصنفًا. مات في سنة سبعٍ وأربعين وثلاث مئة.
