    ١٩٠ - سلَيمان بن المُغِيرة * (ع) الإِمام الحافظُ الثَّبت، أبو سعيد القَيسيُّ مولاهم البَصْريّ. حَدث عن: الحسن، وابنِ سِيرين، وحميد بن هلال، وثابت البُنَاني، وجماعة. وعنه: ابن المبارك، والقطان، وابن مَهْدي، وأبو سلمة، وأسد بنُ موسى، والقَعْنبي، وشيبانُ بنُ فرّوخ، وخلق. قال ابنُ مَعين: هو ثِقَة ثِقَةٌ (١). وقال أَحْمد: ثبت ثبت (٢).وقال شعبة: هو سيِّدُ أهلِ البصرة (١). وقال الخرَيبي: ما رأيتُ بصريًّا أفضلَ منه (٢). وقال سليمانُ بن حرب: حَدَّثَنَا سليمانُ بن المغيرة، العدلُ الرضى، الأمين المأمون. مات سنةَ خمس وستِّين ومئة. رحمة الله عليه.
