    ١٦ - أبو بكر الجوبقي أبو بكر تميم بن محمد بن علي البقال الجوبقي. ينسب إلى جوبق مرو. قال أبو سعد: موضع بمرو يباع فيه الخضر ويسمى بالفارسية جوبه، وبنيسابور يسمون الخان الصغير الذي فيه بيوت تكترى، جوبه والنسبة إليها جوبقي.كان شيخاً صالحاً. قرأ الأدب في صغره على الأديب كامكار بن عبد الرزاق المحتاجي وسمع منه الحديث. سمع منه أبو سعد بمرو. مات يوم الجمعة السابع والعشرين من رمضان سنة ٥٥٠هـ.
