    ١١ - أبو مطيع الهروي أبو مطيع أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن المظفر الهروي. كان شيخاً، عالماً، بهي المنظر، كثير المحفوظ، واعظاً، مليح الوعظ، يحفظ الحكايات وأحوال الناس. سمع بمرو أبا الفرج الزاز السرخسي، وأبا عمرو الفضل بن أحمد بن متويه الكاكوي، وبسرخس أبا حامد أحمد بن عبد الجبار بن علي الحمكاني، وغيرهم. ولد قبل الصلاة يوم الجمعة النصف من ذي الحجة سنة سبع وسبعين وأربعمئة. روى عنه ابن السمعاني وولده عبد الرحيم ابن أبي سعد وقال توفي يوم السبت رابع عشر ربيع الآخر سنة سبع وسبعين وخمسمئة.
