    ٩٢٨ - أبو بكر الغولقاني أبو بكر محمد ابن أبي القاسم بن عبيد الله الغولقانيالمروزي من أهل قرية غولقان. كان فقيهاً، فاضلاً، عالماً زاهداً، ورعاً، مسناً، حسن المعرفة بالأنساب حافظاً له. سمع أبا الخير محمد بن موسى الصفار، وأبا بكر محمد بن عبد الله ابن أبي توبة الخطيب، وأبا الفتوح عبد الغافر بن الحسين الألمعي الكاشغري، وغيرهم. كتبت عنه بمرو. وكانت ولادته بقرية غولقان في حدود سنة خمسين وأربعمئة أو قبلها. وتوفي بها في جمادى الأولى سنة ثلاثين وخمسمئة.
