    ٩١٠ - أبو الفتح الجلال أبو الفتح محمد ابن أبي أحمد بن العباس الجلال بالجيم، الصائغ المروزي المعروف باسلام من أهل مرو. كان شيخاً صالحاً، صائناً، حسن السيرة، مخالطاً للأئمة يزورونه ويزورهم، وحكي أنه اعتكف بالجامع الأقدم ستين سنة في العشر الأخيرمن رمضان. سمع أبا الفضل محمد بن بختونه بن محمد الشيرنحشيري، وأبا نصر محمد بن الحسن بن علي بن أحمد القزاز الجلفري، وأبا عبد الله محمد بن الحسن بن الحسين المهربندقشاي، وغيرهم. سمعت منه الكثير. وكانت ولادته في حدود سنة ثلاثين وأربعمئة أو قبلها بمرو. وتوفي يوم الخميس التاسع من جمادى الأولى سنة عشرين وخمسمئة، ودفن بسنجذان.
