    ٨٩١ - أبو نصر الهروي أخوه أبو نصر محمد ابن أبي القاسم المفضل بن سيار الدهان من أهل هراة. كان شيخاً صالحاً، مكتسباً. سمع القاضي أبا العلاء صاعد بن سيار بن يحيى الكناني، وأبا عطاء عبد الأعلى بن عبد الواحد المليحي، وغيرهما. كتبت عنه بهراة. وكانت ولادته في المحرم سنة سبع وثمانين وأربعمئة. ووفاته بها ليلة الثامن والعشرين من شهر ربيع الآخر سنة سبع وخمسين وخمسمئة.
