    ٨٨٧ - أبو الفتح الكشاني أبو الفتح محمد بن مسعود بن الحسين بن الحسن بن محمد بنإبراهيم الكشاني قاضي بخارى. وكان فيه فضل وظرف، ولم تكن سيرته في القضاء بذاك، قيل أنه كان منبسط اليد سمع أباه أبا المعالي، وأبا القاسم علي بن أحمد بن إسماعيل الكلاباذي، وغيرهما. كتبت عنه ببخارى وسألته عن ولادته فقال: ولدت في السابع والعشرين من شهر ربيع الآخر سنة تسعين وأربعمئة بالكشانية. وتوفي في الليلة الرابعة من شهر رمضان سنة اثنتين وخمسين وخمسمئة، وكان قد صلى التراويح، ودخل داره فمات فجأة.
