    ٨٣٧ - أبو جعفر الموسوي أبو جعفر محمد بن علي بن هارون بن محمد الموسوي المسابة من أهل نيسابور. علوي فاضل، عارف بالأنساب، مرجوع إليه معرفتها، عليم بالأدب. كان غالياً في التشيع والميل إلى هواهم، انتقل عن ذلك واختار مذهب الشافعي، وصار يذكر الصحابة ويقول صلى الله عليهم وسلم وتأسف على ما سلف منه، وكان يصحب الإمام محمد بن يحيى الجنزي. لقيته بمرو. وسمع الحديث الكثير، وكنت لقيته بنيسابور وكتب الإجازة، ذكر أن ولادته كانت يوم السبت الثالث من صفر سنة ثلاث وثمانين وأربعمئة بنيسابور. وقتل في وقعة الغز والإغارة على نيسابور في شوال سنة تسع وأربعين وخمسمئة.
