    ٨٢٧ - أبو حفص الطبري أبو حفص محمد بن علي بن محمد المقرئ الطبري المشاط من اهل طبرستان. سكن هراة، وولي الإمامة في المدرسة النظامية بها، وكان شيخاًفاضلاً، فقيهاً، صالحاً، حسن السيرة. سمع نجيب الواسطي. سمعت منه حديثاً واحداً بهراة. وولد بآمل طبرستان في سنة اثنتين وستين وأربعمئة. وتوفي بهراة ليلة الثلاثاء العشرين من ذي الحجة سنة خمسين وخمسمئة.
