    ٨١٧ - أبو الفتح المضري أبو الفتح محمد بن علي بن عبد الله المضري من أهل هراة. شيخ حدث ببلده وبالعراق، وأكثر من الرواية، وسمعوا منه. سمع القاضي أبا عامر محمود بن القاسم، وأبا عاصم الفضيل بن يحيى الفضيلي، وأبا عبد الله محمد بن أحمد الكرتي، وأبا صاعد يعلى بنهبة الله الفضيلي، وأبا بكر محمد بن عبد العزيز بن محمد الفارسي، وبنيسابور أبا الفضل محمد بن عبيد الله الصرام، وأم البنين فاطمة بنت الحسن بن علي الدقاق وغيرهم. كتب إلي الإجازة من هراة. وتوفي ضحوة يوم السبت الحادي والعشرين من ذي القعدة سنة ثلاثين وخمسمئة، ودفن بكارباركاه.
