    ٦٨٨ - أبو سعد النويزي أبو سعد محمد بن أحمد ابن أبي الحارث بن أحمد النويزي المعروف بالصوفي من أهل سرخس. كان شيخاً صالحاً، سليم الجانب سمع أبا منصور محمد بن عبد الملك المظفري المروزي وغيره. سمعت منه أحاديث يسيرة بسرخس. وكانت ولادته في حدود سنة ستين وأربعمئة بسرخس. ووفاته بها فجأة في أواخر سنة اثنتين وأربعين، وقيل في المحرم سنة ثلاث وأربعين وخمسمئة
